Clinical symptoms in rheumatoid arthritis are associated with specific autoantibodies
2023-12-06
The presence of different autoantibodies associated with rheumatoid arthritis should be evaluated separately to provide a better picture of prognosis and support for treatment decisions. This is shown in a new study from IGP, published in the recognised journal Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases.

Genetics influence the risk of blood clots in oral contraceptive users
2023-10-20

Contraceptive pills protect against rheumatoid arthritis
2023-10-11
Contraceptive pills can reduce the risk of rheumatoid arthritis, while hormone treatment in connection with menopause can increase the risk later in life. In a new study of more than 200,000 women in the UK, researchers at IGP have discovered connections between the use of sex hormones and the risk of developing rheumatoid arthritis. The results have been published in the journal Rheumatology.
