About the department
At IGP there are six research programmes, undergraduate and postgraduate education, and administration.
IGP:s organisation
Research and education at the Department of Immunology, Genetics and Pathology (IGP) focus on genetic diseases, tumor diseases and diabetes. We shall also disseminate and utilise our research findings, such as that they may lead to improved health for patients with these diseases.
Our goal is to be an efficient, transparent and service minded organisation, and an attractive department for scientists in our research areas.

The department has activities at the Rudbeck Laboratory, at BMC and at Uppsala University Hospital.
